INCLUSIVE EVENTs CONSULTING

making general admission general for all

Quick crash course before you explore the site!

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) became law in 1990 and requires equal access for people with disabilities.

Sensory inclusion goes beyond this and supports a variety of mental disorders such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), dementia, sensory processing disorder (SPD), etc.

ADA compliant does NOT always mean inclusive. Obstructed views, long distances, untrained staff, and a lack of accessible parking/ decompression spaces/ interpreters are some of the many barriers that still prevent experiences from being equal for all.

Many venues are starting to add sensory spaces, mobile accessibility apps, captioning devices, sensory-friendly events, universal design principles, and disability inclusion consulting teams - and that’s where we come in!
